Vessel Fitter
We are seeking a skilled vessel fitter to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for fitting and fabricating vessels and shell plates to construct water towers and storage tanks using blueprints and drawings. The role requires determining the orientation and degrees of a vessel, laying out, fitting up, and welding using flux core, primarily for structural and tack welds. Responsibilities: Fit and fabricate vessels and shell plates to construct water towers and storage tanks. Utilize blueprints and drawings to determine the orientation and degrees of a vessel. Ability to weld flux core Lay out, fit up, and weld using flux core, primarily for structural and tack welds. Perform own layout and fit-up tasks. Operate cutting torch and perform take-offs. Work Environment
The work environment is industrial and non-climate controlled. The role will start on the day shift, working from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
