Overview
We're looking for friendly Tradesman/Journeyman Electricians who have a positive attitude and take pride in doing it right the first time! A Willard Electrician will install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems as well as inspect electrical systems for our customers. Electricians are commission based pay. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Job Responsibilities: Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors. Ability to manage stress, difficult or emotional customer situations. Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs. Ensure new/returning customers' concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and accurately. Operating company vehicles and will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as, maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle. Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training and no tolerance will be accepted for the disregard of safety instructions. Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade. Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of electrical equipment, components, timers, motors and any other wiring system as needed. Submit customer invoices via company I Pad correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostic and all recommended repairs. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Valid Texas Driver's License Valid Tradesman/Journeyman Electrical License Clean driving record Time management skills Basic software understanding Self-motivation Physical Work Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus. Activities involving being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity as well as dust, fumes, electricity, gases and moderate noise.
