Pre-Physician Assistant (PA) students , to gain invaluable, hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced specialty practice. The successful candidate will be a crucial link between the physician and the patient, ensuring seamless communication and meticulous documentation. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish and reliable transportation for travel between our office locations. Key Responsibilities

Medical Scribe Responsibilities: Accompany the physician during patient examinations to accurately document the patient's history, physical exam, assessment, and plan in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) in real-time. Prepare and update patient charts, ensuring all information, including labs and imaging reports, is current and organized before each appointment. Assist in the completion of medical records, reports, and correspondence as directed by the physician. Facilitate efficient clinic flow by anticipating physician needs and managing documentation tasks. Medical Assistant Responsibilities: Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary intake, including taking vital signs (blood pressure, weight, temperature) and confirming the chief complaint. Manage patient flow, rooming patients, and ensuring exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use. Verify patient information, update medical histories, and assist with medication reconciliation. Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries as needed. Shared Responsibilities: Serve as a medical translator for our Spanish-speaking patients to ensure clear communication and understanding between the patient and the physician. Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues. Travel between our office locations in Secaucus, Clifton, Jersey City, and Hoboken to support clinical operations. Qualifications and Requirements

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written proficiency). Previous experience in a physician's office or clinical setting. Must possess a valid driver's license and have

reliable transportation

for frequent travel. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a pre-health program (Pre-PA, Pre-Med, etc.) is highly preferred. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of orthopedic, spine, or pain management terminology is a significant advantage. Work Environment & Schedule
