VP, Corporate Controller

As the VP, Corporate Controller, you will lead and manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. You'll oversee the financial close process, manage internal controls, and partner with senior leadership to drive financial strategies that support business growth. Your leadership will ensure the company maintains financial integrity while scaling efficiently. You'll also guide a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence. What You'll Do: Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Compelling Storytelling: Curating concise narratives and presentations for various stakeholders that highlight performance trends, opportunities and risks that are actionable for business partners.

Internal Controls: Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale the accounting team, promoting a culture of high performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with senior executives and private equity owners to provide insights on financial performance, operational efficiency, and risk management.

Process Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes & technology solutions to drive efficiency, accuracy, automation, standardization and scalability.

Audit & Tax Management: Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

What You'll Bring: Proven experience as a senior finance leader, ideally in a VP Controller or similar role.

Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.

Strong leadership and team development experience.

Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, private equity owners, external partners (audit / tax) and cross-functional teams.

Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.

Track record in driving technology innovation and business process productivity improvement.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experience in high-growth or publicly traded companies.

CPA or similar professional certification is a plus.

Familiarity with tax regulations and audit processes.
