Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC) - Mission Ready Reserve (MRR)
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) MFLC team across Oklahoma. This on-call, part-time role supports military service members and their families when regular coverage is unavailable or during surge needs. Whether you're looking to stay engaged professionally or seeking flexible hours with purpose-driven work, this is an opportunity to provide meaningful support when and where it matters most. What You'll Do Deliver short-term, in-person, non-medical counseling to service members and adult family members Address a range of life issues, including deployment transitions, marital concerns, parenting, stress, grief, and reintegration Conduct behavioral health trainings and presentations in collaboration with installation leadership Collaborate with local military Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure services align with community needs and contract standards Maintain professional, confidential documentation per DoD and program requirements Locations Served Altus Air Force Base Oklahoma City Air National Guard Base Fort Sill Tinker Air Force Base Tulsa Air National Guard Base Vance Air Force Base Schedule & Coverage Part-time, on-call assignments based on installation needs and your availability Assignment durations vary - from single-day coverage to multi-week support Ideal for clinicians seeking flexible, purpose-driven work without full-time commitment Requirements Master's degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Not eligible: LMSW, LADC, or supervised/associate-level license types Understanding of military culture and family dynamics Ability to work independently and provide structured, non-medical interventions Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English Must pass federal and installation-specific background/suitability screenings Desired Qualifications Prior experience supporting military service members and their families Familiarity with DoD programs or previous MFLC work Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Why Join Our MRR Team?
