Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC) - Mission Ready Reserve (MRR)
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) Military & Family Life Counselors (MFLC) to deliver on-demand behavioral health services to military service members and their families across North Dakota. This part-time, flexible role is ideal for independently licensed behavioral health professionals looking to support military communities when coverage is needed - whether due to leave, surge needs, or special events. What You'll Do: Deliver in-person, short-term, solution-focused counseling to military adults and families Address common challenges including deployment stress, relocation, parenting, marital issues, and grief Support service members through reintegration, relationship transitions, and resilience-building Conduct wellness briefings and behavioral health trainings in partnership with installation leadership Collaborate with military Points of Contact (POCs) to align services with local priorities and contract requirements Maintain clear, compliant documentation per DoD and program standards Locations Served: Minot Air Force Base Grand Forks Air Force Base (Assignments based on need and candidate availability) Schedule & Coverage Expectations: On-call, part-time availability Assignments vary in length (from a single day to multi-week rotations) Candidate selects assignments based on availability and location Requirements: Master's degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state:
LCSW / LICSW LMFT LPC LCPC LMHC
Not eligible: LMSW, LADC, associate-level, or supervised licenses Experience working independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments Familiarity with military lifestyle, stressors, and family dynamics U.S. citizenship and fluency in English Must pass federal background check and meet installation suitability requirements Desired Qualifications: Prior experience supporting military or government programs Former military service or direct work with service members Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) Why Join Our Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) Team?
