Our client is seeking a System Integrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have PLC Programming and Allen Bradley which will align successfully in the organization. About the Role

In this role, you will design, optimize, and maintain electrical systems for industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

Review design drawings (area classification, wiring diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, P&IDs) to ensure compliance with NEC and API RP500 standards. Evaluate high, medium, and low-voltage electrical systems for safety, efficiency, and NEC/NESC compliance. Develop technical specifications, engineering standards, construction standards, and O&M standards. Create equipment specifications for MCCs, switchgear, transformers, motors, starters, generators, and UPS systems. Review third-party arc flash assessments per NFPA 70E/IEEE-1584 standards. Utilize electrical power system modeling software (ETAP, EasyPower, SKM). Conduct root cause analysis for electrical equipment failures and outages. Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems. Collaborate with project management, procurement, engineering, and operations teams to maintain infrastructure integrity. Interface with utility companies for short circuit data, new services, and substation upgrades. Develop cost estimates for greenfield and brownfield projects. Represent the organization with customers, suppliers, and third-party consultants. Manage electrical design for in-house projects and coordinate with other disciplines. Note: Position level may vary based on candidate experience and skills. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. 7-10 years of experience in electrical design for industrial facilities. Expertise in low-voltage VFDs, MCCs, UPS systems, AC generators, medium-voltage switchgear, motors, transformers, and protective relaying. Proficiency with ETAP for model modifications, report reviews, and coordination studies. Knowledge of arc flash hazard assessments and third-party reviews. Familiarity with high-voltage substation design and operation. Experience with automation and instrumentation (DCS/PLCs, transmitters, actuators). Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and ETAP. Ability to design lighting, power distribution, motor control, grounding, and secondary systems (fire/gas alarms, DC circuits). Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, ISA, NEC, API, IEEE). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently. U.S. citizenship or green card required. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Availability for ~10-20% travel and occasional after-hours/weekend work. Preferred Skills

Experience designing electrical systems for natural gas compressor stations, refined products pump stations, or processing facilities. Background leading industrial plant projects from an electrical engineering perspective. Expertise in operating and troubleshooting facility electrical systems. Core Competencies
