The Facilities Operations team is committed to providing the employees and residents at Rockingham County a safe, supported, and environmentally conscious environment. The Electrician/Telecommunications Technician is a vital part of our team that plans/lays out/estimates materials needed for electrical, phone, and computer jobs. Further, this position maintains fire alarm systems, security systems, generators, transfer switches, water + wastewater treatment facility control wiring and systems, and installs/removes residents' phones in the nursing home. The Electrician/Telecommunications Technician participates in a rotating on-call schedule, cross trains across the Facilities department, may assist co-workers with their job responsibilities, and is required to respond to emergency situations, such as snow removal, at the County Complex for up to 16 hours. Required Education And Experience

The required qualifications for this position include: Five to ten years of related experience and/or training in the Electrical Trade; and New Hampshire Master Electrician's License.
