The Environmental Services Team at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is committed to providing residents, clients, visitors, and employees with a safe and clean environment. The Laundry Aide is a vital part of our team who retrieves and sorts residents' personal laundry or facility's linens for washing. By utilizing the proper procedures, equipment, and soaps/chemicals, they load, operate, and unload washers and dryers, as well as operate the ironer for sheets, pillowcases, and table linens. Due to the nature of this position, our Laundry Aides need to occasionally move 100 pounds with the use of assistive devices and frequently move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work alternating weekends and holidays. Required Education And Experience

Duties require no prior experience or training. Status/Shift: Full Time / Non-Exempt / Union Shift Differential: 2nd Shift: $1.75/Hour Weekend Premium: $2.00/Hour Equal Employment Opportunity Mandatory post offer physical and drug testing for new hire.
