Quality Technician
Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 12:00am

Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer specifications are met by performing statistical process control, capability studies and analysis - Create and maintain data records - Perform / conduct capability studies and analysis as directed by the Quality Control Manager - Drive calibration program - Perform hourly check pin maintenance (SPIRIT)
weigh, measure, test and summarize inspection data for analysis - Maintain statistical records having to do with quality, nature, cause of defects - Receive inspection inserts - Complete 2-hour inspections
weight (once/shift, color verification (once/shift, s/u), dimensional as needed - Document and maintain record of findings - Retain / check raw material color chips (retain certifications and chips) - RTC Checks when running
2 skids/shifts, 2 boxes/hr, Freezer/Sling Shot test, Spring Torsion Check, Impact test Requirements for Quality Technician:
- Working knowledge of current measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparators and coordinate measuring machines (operation and programming) - Working knowledge of statistical process control - Basic math, computer and blueprint skills - High School Diploma; Undergraduate preferred - At least five years of related experience (calibration, measuring and tolerances, ISO) - Able to lift up to 50lbs - Able to multi-task in deadline-driven environment - Able to work independently and in a team
