BlackRock's Multi-Alternatives team is part of the MASS Group, focusing on investment strategies in various funds and portfolios. The mission of Multi-Alts is to craft commingled and customized vehicles that take advantage of changing market opportunities by using the full breadth of the firm's capabilities. BlackRock's DPO team in Multi-Alts invests across private markets, focusing on unique opportunities with low correlation to public markets. Responsibilities: Leading investment due diligence, financial review and modelling; preparing investment committee materials and presenting to stakeholders, customers, partners, and team members Completing investment tasks, including collaborating to negotiate, document, and close transactions Performing market, sector, and thematic research, including leading research and sourcing of potential investments Skills & Qualifications: Excellent academic record required 4-7 years of work experience in similar industry positions (e.g., investment management, investment banking, management consulting). Experience sourcing, structuring, and completing direct private market investments (e.g., private equity, private credit) strongly preferred. Passion for investing, intellectual curiosity, and strong analytical, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills Ability to clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral, to internal and external audiences across various levels of seniority Ability to work effectively with other team members, including investment professionals, analysts, and support staff, to complete transactions and deliver results effectively Proven experience in coordinating and managing multiple priorities and deadlines For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$180,000.00 - USD$245,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
