Histology Manager Position In San Diego, CA
The Histology Manager makes sure the histology lab runs smoothly and efficiently. He/she oversees the team, manages daily operations, ensures compliance with regulations, and keeps improving lab processes. Responsibilities: Lab Work & Supervision
Lead a team of histology professionals and make sure high-quality lab work gets done, including tissue processing, cutting, and staining. Quality Control
Meet high industry standards and all regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, etc.). Training & Team Support
Help train, support, and manage the team to ensure they perform at their best. Collaboration
Work with other departments like pathology, supply chain, and client services to keep everything running smoothly. Requirements: Bachelors degree (preferably in science or medical technology). At least 5 years of experience as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician. At least 1 year in a leadership role. HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) certified. Knowledge of lab regulations (CLIA, CAP, OSHA).
