Mill Machinist
Join our dynamic team as a CNC Mill Set-up Technician on the swing shift from Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. This role requires intermediate to journeyman level CNC mill machining experience, specializing in both vertical and horizontal setups. You will be working in a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to precision machining with a focus on process orientation and urgency to meet critical deadlines. Responsibilities
Perform short run, precision CNC machining and take responsibility for first runs. Set-up and operate CNC and machining centers to fabricate precision machined metallic and non-metallic parts. Work closely with Programming and Manufacturing Manager to provide feedback on cycle time reduction and machine optimization. Provide guidance to other machine operators and machinists as assigned. Collaborate with personnel from machining, CNC programming, CMM programming, engineering, inspection, manufacturing, and quality departments. Ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and adherence to customer specifications. Essential Skills
Intermediate to journeyman level CNC Mill Machining Experience. Ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment, including MATSUURA and DMG MORI machines. Proficiency in reviewing and studying CAD drawings, models, blueprints, and specifications. Experience in setting up machine controls and verifying conformance of finished workpieces. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Mastercam software and Renishaw probe systems. 5-axis CNC mill experience is desirable. Knowledge of horizontal and vertical mill machining is advantageous. Experience working with Mazak CNCs is a plus. Why Work Here
