Validation Engineer CAE
Job Summary: Our client in Dayton, OH area is looking for a Validation Engineer (CAE). This is a Direct Hire position. The Engineer is responsible for the creation and documentation of modeling plans to the engineering team. They will initiate the new process and tools utilizing FEA and computer engineering programs/software. The Engineer is responsible for overall development, test, evaluation, and proving support for mass production startup based on customer requirements. The Engineer will work in cross functional teams within the organization to deliver projects that meet customer and company requirements. Independent FEA modeling setup and model check to ensure accurate analysis Create project reports Project Management Act as a liaison between customer and different groups within the company Evaluate validation requirement from customer and develop adequate test methods and design jigs Create test reports and present to customers Lead product testing and coordinate various activities Document test procedures, programs, and test systems Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications: Suspension components Bachelors Degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering or related areas. Years of experience in place of degree is acceptable. 3-5 years of experience preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication Ability to plan and prioritize Experience in FEA Strong analytical and problem solving skills Experience with Catia V5, Hypermesh, Nastran, and Abaqus Experience with Metal Fatigue Blue print reading skills, 2D and 3D drawings Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
