Promotes and restores patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the cardiology patient care areas; directing and developing staff; demonstrating fiscal responsibility; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff; ensure an environment conducive to patient and family centered care. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health or Science Minimum Work Experience: 5-7 years of clinical nursing Previous Management and Computer skills Required Licenses/Certifications: BLCS ACLS Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities: Compile and Analyze Reports Compose applicable policies and procedures Compose letters/memoranda Coordinate meetings Develop office procedures Interview others Proven written and editing skills Research information Use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis Strong computer skills Deals effectively with community/consumers Demonstrated advocate for quality and cost effective care Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position Demonstrated leadership in Medical Staff Affairs Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills Requires ability to handle confidential information Demonstrated interpersonal skills Requires extreme diplomacy and tact Strong commitment to religious values of the institution Supervises employees Designated Driver: No OSHA Category: 1-High Risk
