Locker Room Supervisor
This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: The Madison Club, set outside of La Quinta, CA. The Madison Club is seeking a Locker Room Supervisor to join the Department. The Locker Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the standards of cleanliness in assigned guest rooms and other areas to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees. Key Responsibilities Oversee the cleanliness of club locker rooms, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas. Develop and maintain excellent member and guest relations. Handle customer complaints and day-to-day operational issues. Oversee the customer service to ensure member and guest satisfaction. Oversee lost and found program and SOPs are adhered to. Develop budgets and monitor financials to meet business goals. Conduct a weekly inventory count of all Locker Room items. Ensure compliance with company and member policies and procedures. Make sure all locker rooms are in compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations at all times. Report any maintenance problems or safety issues promptly. Scheduling of staff to ensure locker rooms are staffed adequately along with monitoring punctuality and monitoring the department labor budget. Developing and training locker room attendants to ensure job expectations are met. Oversee daily opening and closing procedures are consistent and in line with SOP. Assist with daily locker room duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degree or certificate program in hospitality or business preferred. Prior leadership position in hospitality or customer service experience role. Prior experience with Residential, HOA and/or large expansive resort communities. Ability to train, lead, and manage teams of locker room attendants. Excellent grooming standards and demeanor. Additional Requirements Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members. Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds. Benefits The hourly rate for this role is $21-$24 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
