Project Manager

Event Strategies, Inc. (ESI) is a full service event production company based in Alexandria, VA. ESI is seeking to hire full-time Project Managers with a passion to produce both large and small scale events locally and nationwide. Project Managers will oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves collaborating with the internal ESI team, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth event operations and the highest level of client satisfaction. Events will include conferences, trade shows, concerts, outdoor and indoor political speaking events, traveling shows, and more. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of an events production, from initial concept development and renderings to fabrication, build and show management, and then the post-event teardown Coordinate with clients to understand the event vision and work to bring the design to life Develop detailed project plans, timelines, diagrams, and budgets to track progress and make adjustments as needed Manage the event logistics, including securing venues, hiring vendors, arranging transportation, and overseeing the on-site production Oversee team members and delegate tasks to ensure efficient execution of the event Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the planning and execution periods Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during event setup, execution, and teardown Qualifications 3-5 years of event management experience in the event production industry or a similar industry Strong understanding of event logistics, planning, and coordination Must be able to be trusted with confidential information Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Ability to work with various teams, vendors, and clients Flexibility to travel and work weekends as needed for events Intimate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive products Graphic design and creative skill sets are preferred but not required Experience Demonstrated experience in handling large-scale events, conferences, made-for-tv events, and other applicable project management experiences Work is performed primarily in the headquarters office in Alexandria, VA Occasional travel for events at venues such as hotel ballrooms, conference centers, arenas, concert venues as well as outdoors in amphitheatres and fields with a large media component at most events Team members working times may be irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Seniority level
