We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records. Assist Finance Manager in monitoring accounts and preparing activity reports as needed. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts.
*Responsibilities*
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. * Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger accounting. * Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including budgeting and account analysis. * Perform bank reconciliations and payroll processing. * Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks. * Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions to support audits. * Coordinate payroll processing with third party vendor. * Assist with agency social media accounts as needed.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field. * Strong skills in account reconciliation, including bank reconciliation. * Experience with payroll processing. * Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. * Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. * Proficient in 10 key for efficient data entry. * Strong written communication skills. * Bilingual in Spanish and English helpful.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
