Gastroenterology Locums - Lakewood, Colorado Immediate Start IMLC Accepted ERCP & EUS Required

This is an inpatient consult-only role at a Level 1 trauma center with ongoing needs into 2025. Ideal for experienced GI physicians looking for flexible, high-impact work. Assignment Details:
* Dates: Dec 23-Jan 1 * Schedule: 24-hour call Mon - Sun - all shifts end following morning 7a * Coverage: 5-7 days/month (Monday-Sunday options) * Setting: Inpatient only - consult service (no admissions) * Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, geriatric * Volume: 8-10 new patients daily + follow-ups, 5-8 scopes/day * Support: No APP support, but 24/7 hospitalist, intensivist, and trauma coverage on site
Required Procedures:
* Scoping * Endoscopy * ERCP * EUS * GI bleed management * Evaluation of GI issues
Requirements:
* Board Certification in Gastroenterology * Active CO license or IMLC * DEA license (must be kept for the duration of assignment) * Gastroenterology fellowship training * Clean malpractice/background (priority given to those with NPDB self-inquiry report) * Must be available for dates to qualify for ongoing work * Local or drive-in candidates highly preferred
EMR: Epic
* Must complete online training modules prior to virtual EMR training * Virtual EMR training required before start date
