Stout & Teague Management Corp., a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced, full-time Property Manager to join our Property Management Team. Stout & Teague specializes in the development, leasing and property management of commercial office, and mixed-use projects throughout Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia.
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, with the ability to travel to properties in the MD & VA suburbs
Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience: 3+ years
Responsibilities
●Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong business relationships with tenants and clients
●Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills with Property Management Team administration and engineering members
● Coordinate vendor meetings/outreach, RFPs, bid analysis and contract execution.
● Coordination of tenant move ins and move outs for covered properties.
●Construction management of tenant improvement projects, to include planning, obtaining documentation, tenant and vendor interactions, budget tracking and project cashflow schedules
●Schedule maintenance and service of tenant areas by coordinating with tenant contacts and vendors
●Manage certificate of insurance program, ensuring compliance of all tenants and vendors
●Review utility and vendor service invoices for accuracy
●Coordinate routine, thorough, on-site property inspections and resolve any deficiencies
●Assist in monitoring vacancies and ensure that all vacant space is in market-ready condition
●Ability to manage task and project list for 6-10 buildings
●Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
●Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
●A minimum of 3 years of property management experience with increasing responsibility
●Ability to work professionally with people at all levels and maintain a high degree of initiative and self-direction
●Excellent written and oral communication skills
●Demonstrated knowledge of Excel
● Working knowledge of accounts payables, receivables, budgets and expenditure controls is required.
●Experience with Yardi, Avid, and Building Engines is preferred
●A willingness to perform both small and large tasks as needed for the success of the company and client goals
