Position Overview:

Provide administrative support to and act as a liaison between the CEO, Chamber staff, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level, tailored support to the organization’s president and CEO.
  • Manage the president and CEO’s calendar in an organized and efficient manner, including scheduling meetings and appointments and coordinating extensive domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the president and CEO.
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and events, ensuring the president and CEO is well-prepared.
  • Coordinate and prioritize incoming requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Precisely and strategically execute a variety of tasks with high attention to detail, organization, and process.
  • Help plan and implement special projects and events as directed by the president and CEO, including some of a personal nature.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Maintain organized records and files for the Executive Office.
  • Partner closely with colleagues to plan and execute meetings and coordinate shared activities.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional scheduling, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to oversee multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and pivot and reprioritize at a moment’s notice.
  • Outstanding verbal and interpersonal skills with grace under pressure and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating creativity, flexibility, initiative, and problem solving.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality with a strong sense of diplomacy, judgment, and personal accountability.
  • A positive and professional attitude and able to deftly interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a knowledge of and passion for issues affecting the business community.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and research skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime.

The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
