Stefanini Group is looking for an
IT Field Service Support Engineer . The engineer will handle day-to-day technical operations, providing support and guidance by resolving IT requests from Carmeuse employees. They will act as the IT Operations Services delivery representative (SPOC) for their geographical region and will have regional management responsibilities as part of a global strategy. Responsibilities
Lead daily IT operations in your assigned region with support from your manager. Assess, diagnose, and troubleshoot IT issues independently. Support and resolve IT malfunctions of systems, platforms, or processes. Ensure IT systems and platforms are operational, coordinating with support teams. Properly utilize and update the ITSM platform for tracking and reporting. Document solutions in the IT Knowledge Database. Support users in using IT systems and resolving issues. Proactively identify and suggest improvements for IT operations. Build relationships with business units and support external partners. Standardize processes and participate in IT Service Management activities. Communicate effectively within IT and with stakeholders about outages, changes, and user experience. Coordinate with support groups and maintain communication protocols. Participate in IT workplace and helpdesk activities and other duties as needed. User Experience Activities
Resolve tickets within SLAs and KPIs. Provide excellent user experience and end-to-end resolution of issues. Partner with business units to improve IT user journeys. Engage with regional stakeholders and gather feedback for improvements. Handle difficult situations professionally. Field Services Activities
Perform on-site IT activities across Carmeuse locations as needed. Represent IT at regional locations. Support training on IT concepts and tools. Support multiple IT disciplines, including network, helpdesk, and hardware maintenance. Home Base Locations
Rogers City MI or Lansing/Wood Road HQ MI. Requirements
Excellent customer service skills and empathy. Ability to manage time and multitask effectively. Strong teamwork and work ethic. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical writing. Organized and curious learner. Understanding of IT concepts (Networking, Cloud, Security); 2+ years experience, 3+ preferred. Basic understanding of Business Operations (OT). Knowledge of ITIL; certifications preferred. Understanding of UX concepts. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Fluent in local language and English. Willing to travel approximately 35%. Additional Details
