The IT Field Support Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day technical operations, offering support and guidance by resolving incoming IT requests from Carmeuse employees. They will act as the IT Operations Services delivery SPOC for their geographical region and have regional management responsibilities as part of a global strategy. Responsibilities include: Drive and lead daily IT operations in your region with support from your manager. Assess, diagnose, and troubleshoot IT issues independently. Support, resolve, or facilitate resolution of IT malfunctions. Coordinate with IT Service Desk and support groups to ensure system uptime. Properly document solutions in the IT Knowledge Database. Support users in utilizing IT systems and troubleshooting issues. Proactively identify risks and suggest improvements. Build relationships within Carmeuse and support external IT partners. Standardize processes and participate in ITSM activities. Communicate effectively within IT and with business stakeholders. Collaborate with support groups and document needs and solutions. User Experience Activities: Resolve tickets within SLAs and KPIs. Ensure excellent user experience in all interactions. Own end-to-end resolution of IT cases. Partner with business units to improve IT user journeys. Gather feedback for continuous improvement. Field Services Activities: Provide physical support at Carmeuse locations as needed. Represent IT at regional sites. Train users on IT systems and tools. Support multiple IT disciplines including network, helpdesk, and hardware maintenance. Location:

Home-based near Virginia (Winchester) or Kentucky (Black River). Requirements: Excellent customer service skills and empathy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and time effectively. Strong teamwork and work ethic. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical documentation. Organized and curious learner. At least 2 years of relevant IT experience, preferably 3 years. Understanding of IT concepts like Networking, Cloud, Security; basic Business Operations knowledge. ITIL Foundation certification preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Fluent in local language and English. Willingness to travel approximately 35%.
