This includes mills, drills, and other machinery. Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities Loads and unloads parts into various fixtures efficientlyLoads and unloads fixture pallets into various machines with repeatabilityLifts metal stock or work pieces manually, and positions/secures them in machines using fasteners and hand tools Confirms conformance of finished work, using measuring and inspection tool, as necessaryInspects work produced with assistance by using micrometer; calipers, CMM, optical comparator, or other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specificationsPossesses a keen sense of urgency to meet or exceed daily quotasReports production/scrap numbers accurately both in written and verbal formsMaintains a clean, organized workstation that supports 6S methodologyInforms supervisor of any issues with operation of equipment, safety concerns, or quality issuesWears proper PPE at all times and conforms to all safety rules and regulationsPerforms other duties, as assignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:HAAS or vertical mill experience, preferredAbility to read/interpret blueprints, use/read precise measuring tools, and perform general math calculationsStrong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with all levels of employeesMust be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds occasionallyEducational & Certification:High School Diploma or GED, preferredBenefits / Why Work with Us?We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance eligibility the first day of the month following your hire date, along with company sponsored Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability coverage, with options for Supplemental coverage and Long-Term Disability.Growth is something we encourage and offer tuition assistance program and an employee assistance program.
