Sr Product Marketing Manager, Cross-Product Storytelling (AI Business Solutions)

, you'll play a critical role in shaping the narrative around Copilot, influencing the product, and enabling our field and partners with the narrative to drive successful understanding, preference, and adoption across our customer audiences.

This role will?lead the cross-product storytelling for AI Business Solutions - defining the how we present our core Microsoft 365 business, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agents story. This includes working with our inbound product marketing teams to ensure our storytelling is technically grounded, emotionally resonant, and strategically aligned with business goals.

Your work will influence executive communications, field enablement, and customer-facing content across multiple channels. The role will require a rare combination of technical understanding, strategic vision, and exceptional storytelling skills to craft compelling narratives. By bringing in market trends and futures vision, the Director of Product Marketing will create the outbound strategy (positioning, go-to-market, and core content) that shapes industry conversation and accelerate the AI momentum with market differentiation.

Responsibilities

Narrative Development & Story Architecture

Craft unified, cross-product storytelling that span core Microsoft 365 apps, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Agents. Partner with inbound Product Marketing Managers and their Product Management counterparts to define technology innovation.

Translate technical product scenarios into compelling, differentiated narratives.

Integrate the use cases into go-to-market for field - sellers and partners and customers.

Build a?content tracker?to centralize work across individual contributors, cross-functional stakeholders, and leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead narrative alignment across products, bringing in behavior data and evolving AI landscape trends to customer storytelling. Collaborate with technical advisors to ensure narratives are grounded in product truth and competitive insight.

Partner with compete and analyst relations to ensure narratives address market gaps and reinforce Microsoft's leadership.

Strategic Messaging & Positioning

Articulate complex AI concepts as the primary storyteller.

Develop cross-functional collaboration to align on messaging across key stakeholders.

Create compelling use cases for diverse audiences - from C- Suite executives to IT decision makers to business decision makers.

Partner with compete and analyst relations to ensure narratives address market gaps.

Content Creation & Enablement

Create high-impact content including keynote scripts, pitch decks, customer stories, and analyst-facing materials.

Support storytelling for events like Ignite, Build, and internal field readiness.

Contribute to the development of visual storytelling assets and demo narratives.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.

5+ years' experience as a written and verbal data-driven storyteller, that can inform and influence decision making across executives and the broader organization.?

Ability to identify storytelling opportunities, develop, and create new narratives.

Proven experience with storytelling that span multiple products or business units.

Collaboration skills and ability to influence across functions and levels.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.

Communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor the content and the delivery to different audiences and formats.?

Capacity?and comfort to learn new areas and shift priorities as business evolves.??

Organized, and relentlessly focus on actionability of the insights, and scaling the reach of the insights for others to?take action.?

Experience working in a dynamic environment, across a wide variety of stakeholders and disciplines, earning trust and collaborating with Engineering, Business Planning, Finance, and Marketing partners.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
