Program Coordinator - Family Day Care
Children's Aid & Family Services, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation
The Family Day Care (FDC) Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the program including intake, enrollment, and support of children and families of the Family Day Care Program.
Pay: $21-24/hour

Responsibilities
Manage intake, eligibility, enrollment, and placement of children in Family Day Care (FDC) homes.
Monitor ongoing eligibility, enrollment status, and waitlist updates.
Conduct bimonthly home visits to FDC providers to ensure regulatory compliance.
Support parents with child development concerns and connect them to appropriate resources.
Act as liaison and advocate between FDC providers, parents, and involved agencies.
Collaborate with DCF, EI, and SPED to coordinate services for children.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date children’s records, including health documentation and progress reports.
Provide support and technical assistance to FDC providers.
Coordinate transportation services and substitute care arrangements.
Plan and assist with professional development and parent education events.
Attend staff meetings and complete required trainings, including maintaining CPR/First Aid certification.
Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to organizational policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Associate's Degree or relevant experience required.
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or related field preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
A commitment and interest in working with young children and their families in a family child care setting
Ability to relate positively to children and adults
Organizational skills with an ability to follow through on tasks are a must.
Strong knowledge of DCF support services, DEEC waitlist & regulations, and QRIS.
Computer experience.
Massachusetts driver's license required.
Fluent bilingual (English/Spanish) oral and written communication skills required
