The
WonderWorks Operations Manager
is one of the team’s strongest relationship-building assets, working diligently to ensure groups are set up for success during their upside-down adventure! The Sales Manager fosters WONDERful relationships in the community by addressing inbound inquiries, implementing outreach initiatives, and aiding in the business's overall success in the world of group sales! Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service in a timely and responsive manner including responding to guest complaints and team member issues
Direct and supervise employees in all departments including admissions, retail, food & beverage, exhibits, laser tag, ropes, etc.
Frequently walk through the building to ensure operations are running smoothly
Prepare work schedules for team members to be sure staffing levels coordinate with daily projected sales
Supervise team members, from interviewing to recognition to counseling to exits
Ensure the facility maintains a safe and clean environment for all team members and guests
Manage inventory, stock, and reorder food and merchandise as needed for business to run smoothly
Grow the group sales portfolio, through calls, emails, site visits and other outreach
Generate new business to increase ticket sales and group bookings
Attend events and expos as the face of WonderWorks to increase company exposure
Manage customer relationships at various points throughout the sales cycle
Completes route visits for niche market and attends off site events in company vehicle promoting marketing programs, events through word of mouth and collateral materials
Records and reviews sales performance through monthly sales reports
Manage guest comments and inquiries through various channels
Organize and manage promotional items, events and activities
Assist with media requests and interviews as needed
Assist with capturing on-site photos and videos for social media posts on all outlets
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all departments
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
Ability to anticipate guest needs
Time management & multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently and efficiently
Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to travel as required
Proven Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Cold-calling experience
CRM experience
Education and Experience:
Education in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or similar fields or equivalent work experience required
Previous hospitality or themed entertainment experience is
Physical Demands :
Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the work area
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Pay: From $19 per hour
