In this pre-sales role, you will collaborate with Gluware and our clients to tackle enterprise networking automation challenges. If you possess pre-sales experience, programming knowledge, and a strong background in networking, and if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you onboard. This is a key part of our sales team, and you will earn a competitive salary with additional commission opportunities, targeting on-target earnings of $240,000 per year. Note that the role is remote, requiring travel for customer visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Gluware Sales team to secure technical wins in complex network automation sales campaigns.
Design customized solutions to meet customer needs utilizing the Gluware platform and third-party integrations (ITSM, CMDB, IPAM, CI/CD).
Conduct engaging product demonstrations for Gluware customers and partners.
Lead successful proof of concept (PoC) engagements with prospects.
Deliver tailored automation solutions to PoC prospects and existing customers.
Create and present targeted technical sales presentations.
Work in collaboration with Gluware Engineering, Service Delivery, Sales, and Support for superb customer experiences.
Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to tackle unique customer challenges.
Stay informed about the latest in networking, cloud, and competitive technology landscapes.
Act as a trusted advisor for automation solutions to our clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise network architectures, products, and configurations (cloud, data center, SD-WAN).
At least 3 years of customer-facing pre-sales experience.
Proficiency in CLI configurations, regular expressions, and JavaScript or Python scripting.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Expertise in data modeling using JSON, YANG, YAML, or XML.
Hands-on experience with REST API integrations.
Basic knowledge of Linux administration.
Understanding of public and hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with leading virtualization and container solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Results-oriented problem solver, eager to contribute to a growth-stage company.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer programming, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
Travel: Up to 30%.
