What's your day like? As a full-time Sub Assembly B Alternator/EFI Specialist at Roush Yates Racing Engines, you will play a crucial role in assembling engine electrical components, ensuring all parts meet precise specifications and align with the production schedule. You will inventory tools, parts, and supplies, and coordinate with materials handlers for necessary inventory restocks. Quality inspections pre-and post-assembly will be a vital part of your responsibilities, as you identify and resolve any problems that may arise. You will track mileage for each engine part and provide essential replacement parts for trackside support as needed.
Maintaining an organized and clean work area while adhering to established safety and quality procedures is paramount. Additionally, you may be assigned various other duties that contribute to the team's success and operational excellence.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.
Prior electrical experience required.
Must be able to read, understand and follow written instructions.
Excellent attention to detail.
Basic math skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to use various hand tools, including electrician hand tools and meters.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS This individual must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. There will be long periods of standing while you work. We want you to be safe, so you will be required to follow company established safety procedures. Last, but not least, for ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
