Logistics Clerk

Overview

As the backbone of our logistics operations, this role ensures precise tracking and handling of shipments-both incoming and outgoing. You'll be the go-to person for maintaining orderly inventory, processing accurate documentation, and safeguarding seamless delivery cycles. Location:

Burton, MI

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30?AM - 3:30?PM (flexible for occasional overtime/weekends)

Pay Rate:

$18/hour

What You'll Do

Enter customer part numbers, supplier data, and key information into the inventory management system with 100% accuracy

Perform administrative data-entry tasks using established software tools

Process shipping and receiving documentation, including extracting details from Bills of Lading

Generate dispatch orders and tags to facilitate correct customer part selection

Manage claims for misdirected parts, updating status in the customer system

Conduct quality control checks to ensure supplier compliance and accuracy

What You'll Need to Succeed

Flexible schedule availability, including readiness for planned and unplanned overtime and possible weekends

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Previous clerical or data-entry experience preferred

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods-important for floor-level inventory tasks

Pay Details:

$18.00 per hour
