Description: As a Bartender, you ensure consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department. You will also maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast paced environment, while providing superior guest service. Ask for ID from any guests that appear to be under the age of 30 Accurately prepare drinks, according to established company recipes and presentation The ability to free pour a ¼ oz., ½ oz., ¾ oz., 1 oz., 1-1/4 oz., 1-1/2 oz and 1-3/4 oz. shots with consistent proficiency Ask if the guest has ever been to the establishment before Takes drink orders, suggesting specialty drinks, non-alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, etc.and delivers them promptly and accurately to each guest Offers every guest a menu Ability to explain to guests what separates us versus regular restaurants Asks the required menu questions Responsible beverage service Suggests an appetizer and delivers it promptly (if ordered) Suggests add-on sides, salads, and soups Knows menu thoroughly and accurately, answers any questions a guest might have about menu items and preparation options Checks back with the guests within two (2) minutes to make sure everything is prepared to their satisfaction. At lunch - check back, check down Without being intrusive, observes when drinks need to be refilled or dishes need to be cleared Enters all food and drink items at the POS station, ensuring all items are entered accurately Presents the check and picks up the payment in a timely fashion. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure Pre-bus bar by clearing all food items Resolves any guest complaints immediately unless a Manager is required to assist with a guest. Exercises judgment in the most appropriate way to satisfy the guest and recover flawlessly Advises the Manager immediately of any guest complaints and how the issue was resolved. Observes other bar stations and service bar printer and pitches in when needed Completes any other duties assigned by a Manager Weekend, evening and holiday work is required

Requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills Knowledge of all standard liquor, wine and beer products offered by the restaurant Knowledge of drink recipes and presentation Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required Ability to exercise good judgment when dealing with problem resolution Ability to anticipate guests' needs Attention to detail Knowledge of and ability to use the POS station quickly and accurately Ability to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others Successfully completes and passes the RAMP Certification program Be able to find or have a reliable source of transportation
