Applicants should have a thorough understanding of design requirements, codes, standards, and current trends. Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and communicate with subcontractors and vendors for the successful execution and delivery of projects. Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with the project team, while providing leadership to include professional development and mentoring of staff. Assist senior management in developing and validating project scope and fee, budget, and scope of services and consultant contracts. Consult with clients to determine function and special requirements and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time. Ensure complete and timely communication of project information between client, internal teams, consultants, and contractors to carry out project details and address technical or critical issues. Manage projects using Deltek Vantagepoint tools; complete work plans including budget, project scope, consultants, schedule, fees, costs, and additional services. Assist in preparing project presentations and conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions with clients and consultants. Review documents for adherence to building and accessibility codes, ensuring project documentation and contracts comply with Hoefer Welker standards. Ensure construction documents adhere to design intent and maintain financial profitability. Initiate and adhere to the Quality Assurance Program throughout the project lifecycle. Identify new business opportunities and develop current client relationships. Participate in marketing and business development opportunities and assist in fee proposal development. Develop and maintain positive relationships with consultants, contractors, and applicable agencies. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience, with a preference for a Master’s degree, and 10-15 years of project management experience in architecture, especially in design-build, commercial, healthcare, or government projects. Licensure as an architect is required, with NCARB registration preferred, and LEED accreditation is desirable. Proficiency in Revit, NewForma, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint are required. The candidate must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of architectural systems and sustainability. Additional Details
