Position Summary

The Director of Logistics and Warehousing drives Empower’s mission by optimizing warehousing, transportation, and distribution strategies, ensuring supply chain precision, efficiency, and compliance, utilizing ERP systems to deliver medications worldwide. Responsibilities

Lead strategic warehousing and distribution models for seamless order fulfillment, inventory control, and just-in-time production, including ERP implementation. Manage carrier relationships and implement ERP-based carrier management tools, negotiate transportation contracts. Establish processes and partnerships for compliant import/export operations of raw materials and finished goods. Develop and monitor KPIs to improve quality, inventory accuracy, and cost management. Design and execute enterprise-wide logistics strategies for transportation, storage, and distribution. Work Environment

Employees will talk and hear regularly, remain stationary for work, and use hands and fingers for computer tasks. Movement around the office and campus will be required, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and bending. Skills and Knowledge

Expertise in mitigating risks, optimizing value chains, and clear communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead, mentor, and foster growth. Core Competencies

Minimum 15 years in distribution and transportation, with warehousing, inventory, import/export, and contract negotiation experience. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field; CSCP preferred. Experience with AI integration in workflows is a plus. Benefits
