Essential Function
Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for primary duties when the Store Manager is absent.

Job Title: Assistant Manager
Primary Duties
Brand (30%) : Supervise and support associates’ daily goals and activities to deliver exceptional client experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends.
People (30%) : Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit and build a strong network of candidates. Identify strengths and opportunities for associates and address them through coaching. Maintain positive relations and communicate effectively with team and peers. Promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Operations (30%) : Ensure execution of company processes through training, management, and analysis. Support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and follow company directives.
Safety/Loss Prevention (10%) : Maintain a safe environment for all, enforce policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety training and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Preferred: 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
Preferred: 1+ year management experience
Effective team leadership and communication skills
Availability to meet business scheduling needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
