Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for primary duties when the Store Manager is absent. Job Description Cosmo Prof Job Title: Assistant Manager Primary Duties Supervise and support associates' daily goals to deliver exceptional client experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Focus on in-store selling and Omni-channel strategies. Ensure brand standards are met, including merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, and dress code. Address customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate demands. Engage, train, and develop team members to achieve positive results. Recruit and build a strong network of candidates. Coach and counsel associates, address concerns, and maintain positive relations. Communicate effectively with peers and foster diversity and inclusion. Ensure execution of company processes through training and analysis. Support digital strategies such as Omni-channel fulfillment. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and follow company directives. Maintain a safe store environment, protect assets, and ensure compliance with policies, including HAZMAT training. Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Retail sales/customer service experience preferred Management experience preferred Effective communication and team leadership skills Availability to meet business needs Cosmetology license desirable but not required Competencies Passionate Learner Flexible, Agile, Adapter Talent Builder Effective Communicator Team Builder Customer Focused Partner Results Driver Strategic and Big Picture Thinker Problem Solver and Decision Maker Working Conditions Physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and bending Work environment involves typical safety precautions of retail settings Additional Details
