About the Role: As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Your efforts will directly impact the accuracy and timeliness of order fulfillment, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting inventory control processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals. Ultimately, your work will help streamline supply chain activities and support the company’s commitment to excellence in logistics. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or distribution center. Basic computer skills including data entry and use of handheld scanning devices. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed. Any other tasks assigned. Skills: The required skills such as physical stamina and basic math are essential for handling daily warehouse tasks like lifting, sorting, and inventory counting. Attention to detail ensures accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management, reducing errors and improving customer satisfaction. Communication and teamwork skills are used daily to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors to maintain smooth operations. Preferred skills like forklift operation and familiarity with warehouse management systems enhance efficiency and safety in handling goods. Computer literacy supports the use of technology for tracking shipments and managing inventory data, streamlining workflow and reporting.
