The University of Vermont ( UVM ) is seeking a Global Connections Program Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations and dynamic programming of the Global Connections Learning Community.
The Global Connections Program Coordinator brings to life the mission of the Global Connections Learning Community by designing and implementing innovative co-curricular programming that enhances student learning, fosters global awareness, and builds strong community bonds.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds, and has a talent for creating engaging learning experiences outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and implement co-curricular events and programs aligned with a curricular approach
Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to develop service-learning and community service opportunities
Support and mentor student leaders and supervise work-study students
Build partnerships with university departments and local community organizations
Assist with marketing and promotion of community events and opportunities
Serve as the primary liaison between the Learning Community and campus partners, including Residential Education and Housing Operations
Contribute to broader department initiatives such as UVM GO, Midnight Breakfast, and campus-wide programming

Residential Learning Communities at UVM are a unique collaboration between University Housing & Dining Services and the Office of Academic Affairs & Student Success. These communities offer students the opportunity to live and learn alongside peers with shared interests, take themed courses, and participate in co-curricular programming that supports academic exploration, career development, and personal growth.

Desirable Qualifications
Education and/or experience with and/or interest in anthropology, intercultural competency, and/or global citizenship.
Anticipated Pay Range $47,500-49,000 (11 month term)
Other Information
This is an 11-month position with the month of June off. Standard work week will be M-F, 10 am to 6 pm, with option to flex hours as needed to support on campus programming efforts.
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, Background Check required for this position
