About the Role:
As an Environmental Services Technician at our Health Care Services facility, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hospital are kept clean and sanitized, including patient rooms, common areas, and medical equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help us provide the highest level of care to our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in environmental services or a related field
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
Certification in environmental services or a related field
Experience working in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of infection control procedures and protocols
Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, common areas, and medical equipment
Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify supervisor when supplies need to be ordered
Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning of patient rooms or common areas
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Skills:
