The type of equipment used includes Philips central monitoring systems. Documentation is done using the Meditech system. Scheduling requires every other weekend availability. Nurses may float to Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Units for assignments or tasks in the Emergency Room. Patient experience standards are specific to the facility. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. The dress code consists of royal blue or black scrubs. Unit guidelines and policies will be provided upon request.
