This position is focused on providing exceptional care to patients recovering from various diagnoses including neuro rehabilitation, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), spine injuries, and orthopedic conditions. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute rehabilitation environment.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to meet rehabilitation goals.- Contribute to a culture of support and education for students and new hires.- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems. Shift Details: - 12-hour night shift assignments (7 PM - 7 AM) with an every-other-weekend requirement.- Orientation sessions are held biweekly on Mondays.- Initial assignment dates are September 8 and September 22. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty (med/surg or rehab nursing).- Active Virginia or Compact Licensure is required at the time of submission.- BLS certification is mandatory; CRRN certification is highly preferred.- Experience with Cerner electronic health records is highly preferred.- Previous travel nursing experience is required. Additional Requirements: - Candidates must have limited RTO (Requested Time Off) included in their submission packet.
