Physician Assistant (PA) - Family Practice in Somerset, MA

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Internal Medicine practice in Somerset, Massachusetts. This full-time position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holiday call requirements, making it ideal for providers seeking work-life balance in a collegial, patient-centered environment. Schedule & Work Environment: Full-time: 4–5 days per week , Monday through Friday , No night shifts, weekends, or holiday call. Supportive team structure with collaborative physician oversight . Onboarding support provided, including EMR training and credentialing assistance. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 . Comprehensive benefits package including Malpractice coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, CME allowance and PTO. Key Responsibilities: Provide independent care to adult patients under a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician Perform physical exams, evaluate medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans Educate patients on preventive health measures, treatment compliance, and lifestyle changes Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record system Participate in care coordination and quality improvement activities Requirements: Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Adult or Family) or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts Valid DEA certificate and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration 1–3 years of primary care experience preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to practice independently within the scope of experience, training, and confidence
