Schwarz Partners has an exciting opportunity available for a Systems Engineer D365 in Carmel, IN ! The Systems Engineer D365 specializes in analyzing, designing, and implementing process within the D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) environment. This should include, but is not limited to manufacturing, financial or warehouse management processes, under the direct guidance of management. The Systems Engineer will be expected to work closely with the business in identifying application and/or process changes and interface with vendors or internal IT resources to implement changes. The Systems Engineer will also work with the business in identifying training opportunities as they pertain to the application. The Systems Engineer assesses the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaises with end users, software vendors and developers to achieve these outcomes. A Systems Engineer uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology. It is expected that the Systems Engineer may serve as change agents who identify the organizational improvements needed, design systems to implement those changes, and train and motivate others to use the systems. The Systems Engineer role may involve various applications currently in use or future use. This role will lead all version upgrades and regression testing processes surrounding the Dev, UAT and production environments.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Provide proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development processes, foster customer relationships, and to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specification.
- Act as a technical/functional resource & point of contact for company end users.
- Conduct configuration & design of D365 F&O and SCM modules to include production processes, inventory and warehouse management, and financial reporting.
- Responsible for the collection, development, analysis, documentation, and communication of business and functional requirements.
- Responsible for all D365 version upgrades and regression testing processes.
- Assist in the creation and quality assurance review of design documents and test results to ensure all project requirements are satisfied.
- Capture user requirements and convert to functional requirements.
- Will recommend action on matters of significance to management for final approval.
- Document high-level business workflows and transform into low-level technical requirements.
- General understanding of application development methodologies, data sharing, infrastructure, cloud, and network architectures.
- Ability to analyze complex information sets and communicate that information in a clear well thought out and well laid out manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or 7 years' experience in related field.
- D365 Finance and Operations experience, 5+.
- Developing functional requirements, preferred.
- Ability to map processes, preferred.
- EDI experience, a plus, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL in a large database environment.
- Direct experience utilizing SQL to develop queries or profile data.
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.
- Web Services.
- Ability to function as a self-starter.
- Ability to handle various issues and apply attention to detail, follow-up, and work effectively with management staff and end users.
- Ability to work with outside vendors, preferred.
- Understanding of various software applications, preferred.
- Knowledge of key concepts of application architecture, preferred
- Knowledge of data integration best practices, preferred.
