We are Long Hospitality — a young and hungry (pun intended) food & beverage group taking the Asian culinary world by storm. Our award-winning concepts (Michelin Guide, Bib Gourmand, LA Times 101) blend
a trifecta of exceptional food, immersive ambiance, and warm hospitality.
What we are looking for:
Pastry Assistant , 5 days a week, from afternoon to night time. 4-5 hours a day to start!

- Work with a passionate, hands on entrepreneurial team that is trying to innovate and push the boundaries on tasty, affordable, Asian comfort food
- Get on the ground floor for an exciting new casual food concept opening, that has the potential to expand fast
- Flexible hours for morning and night shifts, as well as the opportunity to work on projects at either of Long Hospitality's concept locations

- Gain a full working knowledge of all menu items, recipes, prep lists, and setup for your station
- Keep a clean and sanitary station
Shortlist of your responsibilities:
Station Setup & Breakdown
- Open and close the pastry station in accordance with daily checklists
- Perform end-of-shift cleaning and deep cleaning tasks as scheduled
- Scoop and garnish ice creams and plated desserts during service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout service hours
- Prepare daily garnishes using proper knife skills
- Bake all items according to the Weekly Bake Forecast
- Package baked goods as required for retail or service use
- Maintain stock of sauces and accompaniments, preparing additional as needed
- Restock and rotate items in the pastry display to ensure freshness
- Follow recipes precisely to complete daily production per the prep list
- Track and manage inventory of pastry items and ingredients
- Alert the chef of any low stock, equipment issues, or safety/sanitation concerns
- Report any inconsistencies or concerns with baked goods or recipes
- Maintain a sanitary and organized workspace at all times
- Follow all guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook
