The Role We are expanding our OTC & Listed Derivatives team in Houston and have an exciting opportunity for a

Commodity Broker . This mid-level role is ideal for a dynamic individual passionate about financial markets. The candidate should be personable, tenacious, and proactive in generating leads and securing new business. Requirements Promote FIS, providing market intelligence and analysis to clients Arrange physical or financial trades via voice broking for clients at relevant exchanges Create liquidity and facilitate price discovery with entities including Exchanges, SI’s, MTF’s, clearers, prime brokers, and prop traders Maintain and develop relationships with other brokers, especially when liquidity is low from providers Regularly contact and track existing clients’ trading activities Gather industry feedback through calls, surveys, events, and conferences Identify and pursue new business opportunities based on market trends and client needs Produce daily/weekly market price and direction reports for international desks Onboard new clients following compliance and operational procedures Assess client needs to identify cross-selling opportunities Perform other duties as required Training Seek feedback from Desk Head to meet role requirements Complete mandatory training and maintain CPD Key Skills Experience in execution brokerage for financial or physical markets Deep understanding of price risk management Series 3 license (must obtain within 6 months, company covers cost) Willingness to travel to visit clients Strong quantitative, presentation, and decision-making skills Entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset Knowledge of commodity markets Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Degree in Agriculture, Economics, Chemical Engineering, or related field Attention to detail, analytical, and numeracy skills Proficiency in IT systems, especially Excel Benefits FIS is an equal opportunity employer committed to fairness and diversity.
