Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Geriatric Nursing Assistant atCarroll Lutheran Village!
What You'll Do as a GNAat Carroll Lutheran Village:
- Assist nursing staff with completion of older adult resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care.
- Perform vital signs on older adult residents at beginning of each shift and as directed.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safety of our senior residents.
- Assist with motivating senior residents to help keep them active and engaged.

- Previous experience working in a CCRC environment is a plus
- Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with older adult residents
- Ability to listen attentively is essential
- A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
- Previous experience developing relationships and interacting with older adult residents to increase their comfort level
- Prior knowledge organizing social activities for older adult residents is a plus
- Current CPR Certification
