Position Overview

The Freddie Mac Enterprise Business Technology Organization (BTO) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development, Senior Technical Lead who will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of various Corporate Finance technologies and solutions.
The candidate is expected to have strong technical skills in engineering, integration, and demonstrated experience implementing highly scalable solutions. The candidate must also have experience with vendor products and be able to learn/adapt new tools/technologies and implement them for enterprise adoption in accordance with Freddie Mac operational and security standards.
Our Impact
The Enterprise BTO organization enables business operational excellence through the flexible use of technology. The department provides IT strategic services (software development, enhancements, and production support) to support the needs of the Enterprise groups - External Relations and Corporate Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Legal, Operational Resilience, and Regulatory Affairs.
This role will be focused within Finance and often have intersections with the other above listed business lines.
Delivery of Finance solutions to optimally perform cost allocations, enable self-service reporting, and streamlined financial planning, forecasting and reporting.
Delivery of integrations between Finance systems and other systems
Collaboration with other technology teams to advance our technical capabilities, automate and optimize processes to meet business challenges

Lead the creation of and maintenance of delivery pipelines for newly created services/solutions.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically, has at least 10 years+ of related experience.
10+ years of experience with SQL and Relational Databases- PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS.
Experience with Oracle EPM, Workday Financi
als , Workiva, and related vendor products/packages such as Apptio, ServiceNow.
Strong Front and Back End Development Skills:
Python , Java full stack, Angular,
Unix shell scripting.
Strong understanding of relational databases,
SQL, and data modeling.
Solid understanding of Information and application
security including LDAP, certificates, public key encryption, SSH, access credentials,
etc.
A background or equivalent knowledge in Finance, preferably financial accounting and associated Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
