this role is designed for someone with deep experience in solar, battery storage, and microgrids
— someone who can originate and lead complex renewable energy transactions, while gaining exposure to platform-level investments and adjacent infrastructure opportunities. This is a lean, highly selective environment — every hire is central to our growth. **Must be located within driving distance to Irvine CA** What You’ll Do Lead renewable energy deals end-to-end: sourcing, diligence, execution, financing, and post-close value creation. Manage technical diligence processes with independent engineers, environmental consultants, and other specialist advisors. Structure and negotiate
tax equity, project debt, and hybrid financing arrangements
for solar, battery storage, and microgrid assets. Build strong relationships with developers, operators, strategic partners, and capital providers. Work directly with the founder — no bureaucracy, real responsibility. Gain broader experience across platform investing and other infrastructure verticals beyond renewables. Operate where others can’t or won’t, turning overlooked markets into advantage. What We’re Looking For Builders with an ownership mindset. High-conviction operators who thrive in ambiguity. Deep transactional experience in
solar, battery storage, and/or microgrid projects . Proven ability in corporate and project finance — including tax equity modeling and structuring.
