We are seeking a Licensing and Business Development Director for Science and Lab Solutions, primarily focusing on the Cell Biology business. You will identify and execute external partnerships aligned with our strategy, sourcing and managing a network of partners to develop a pipeline of licensing and partnership opportunities to meet revenue and margin targets. Deal types include co-development, licensing, distribution, co-marketing, OEM, and research collaborations. Responsibilities include scouting partners, evaluating and negotiating deals, drafting contracts, and coordinating with R&D, legal, product management, regulatory, and quality teams. Additional tasks will support team objectives and operational efficiency. Travel, including international, may be up to 30%. Open to locations near an airport. Who You Are: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science and 10+ years of industry experience in corporate development, strategic partnerships (non-sales), BD&L, with demonstrated deal closure of single deals valued at ≥$10M USD and 10Y NPV. Or Graduate Degree in a Scientific field with 8+ years of industry experience and similar deal experience. Deal sheet required as attachment to application. Proven experience in negotiating complex deals, understanding contract fundamentals, and strong negotiation skills. Experience with licensing, distribution, and co-development agreements. Financial acumen, including building and defending analyses and business cases like DCFs. Strong networking skills and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments. Excellent presentation skills for C-suite audiences. Preferred Qualifications: MBA Experience in a matrixed environment Understanding of IP protections, contract negotiations, and Venture Capital Proficiency in German or French Pay Range:

$137,300 - $205,900 Our compensation ranges are based on industry data and consider factors such as location, skills, experience, and career level.
