Program Director , you will oversee and be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program(s) (residential and/or day program) related to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD).

This position involves both direct care and supervisory duties. The primary responsibilities include personnel management and program coordination, such as hiring qualified staff, ensuring completion of orientation and ongoing training. The

Program Director

is responsible for monitoring all aspects of the program, including developing individual goals and plans, and implementing the program. The

Program Director

also manages the overall operations, medical, financial, and maintenance aspects of the programs, guiding and directing the lead direct support professional or designee of the site. HOURS: Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to be on call as needed, including working weekends and odd hours. Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR: At least 2-3 years of management experience and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred. A minimum of one-year full-time, paid, direct experience working with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Valid driver’s license and driving record that meet the agency’s insurance requirements. Experience in developing and implementing participant programs, managing budgets, and supervising staff is desirable. Strong decision-making, time management, communication skills, and a responsible, mature, and flexible attitude.
