Position Summary
We are seeking a
Contract Manager
to oversee the entire contract lifecycle—from initial drafting through execution and closeout. This role serves as a key liaison between program management, legal, sales, and executive leadership, ensuring contractual accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation. You’ll be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and tracking a wide range of agreements while helping implement streamlined contract management processes and tools.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role ideal for a contracts professional with strong organizational skills, government contracting knowledge, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, tracking, and maintaining agreements Support program managers and sales teams in reviewing, interpreting, and executing contractual obligations Draft a variety of contracts, including NDAs, SOWs, OTAs, teaming agreements, contract modifications, and option exercises Advise internal stakeholders on contractual risks, compliance issues, and regulatory requirements (FAR, DFARS, etc.) Coordinate with legal counsel and executive leadership on high-risk or non-standard terms Maintain contract database and ensure version control in coordination with legal and sales ops teams Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and reporting obligations across multiple programs Prepare reports for leadership detailing contract status, compliance metrics, and key obligations Oversee subcontractor and vendor documentation, ensuring proper flow-down and compliance Assist with completion of representations and certifications (e.g., SAM.gov, SBA, CPARS)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in contract management, procurement, or similar field Strong understanding of government contracting frameworks (FAR, DFARS) and related systems (e.g., SAM.gov, PIEE) Proven track record managing full contract lifecycle from proposal to closeout Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience collaborating across legal, finance, sales, and engineering teams Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business, Law, or Public Administration 2+ years experience in the aerospace, satellite, or defense sector Professional certifications such as CCMA, CPCM, or CFCM Experience implementing contract lifecycle management (CLM) or ERP systems
